The World Is Falling Apart

While I was watching this video it became apparent that this earth is literally and figuratively falling apart.

Also, while watching this video and seeing the violent destruction the Lord popped this gem into my head:

Col 1:17  (different versions all saying the same thing)
New International Version
He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
New Living Translation
He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.
English Standard Version
And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
New American Standard Bible
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
King James Bible
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

So, this world has rejected the glue that holds all things together.  It is and always has been Jesus Christ the Son of God.

Also, recently I watched a video about CERN where a guy was trying to explain what they are doing there.  More or less he said they are looking to deconstruct matter down to the particle level in order to find the 'glue' that holds everything together.  Even they admit they are looking for the "God particle."

How ironic that they have rejected what they say they are looking for.  Colossians 1:17 tells us clearly what holds everything together.  It is our Lord and Savior.  Reject Him and everything, absolutely everything falls apart.

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

All things, leaves nothing excepted.  It includes everything.

As we watch these things go from bad to worse, remember how this can be solved:  Jesus Christ.  Most will inevitably reject this answer (Matt 7:13-14) but we are looking for the few, the remnant who will accept Him.

We can be certain of this, until the very last moment on the second of the last minute of the last hour of the last day that our Lord's grace is extended to this world the following activity will continue:

Luke 15:3Then Jesus told them this parable: 4“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

This world quickly overlooks and forgets the ones and two's.  Everything here revolves around the masses.  Our Lord teaches us that His kingdom is radically different.  The one matters greatly.  If the ones and twos did not matter, writing would have ceased here years ago.  If only one soul is inspired or encouraged by the words written here, the Lord's direction is to continue writing.  So be it.

This world has rejected Him who holds all things together.  If we remember our Lord in obedience, faith and thanksgiving He can and will hold our personal worlds together.
