Massive Earthquake Hits Mexico, Volcano Erupts Soon After

And Puerto Rico appears poised to be leveled by yet another CAT 4+ hurricane, hurricane Maria.

And all this ^^ comes right on the heels of two CAT 4 hurricanes hitting the United States almost back to back.  The cleanup and recovery has only just begun in both places and here comes another one.  So whats going on?  Its called getting our attention.  There are Christians all over the world who need to have their attention refocused.  Who wants their attention?  You guessed it, Almighty God.

When you read the book of Revelation you see progressive judgements and progressive wrath.  The Lord works His way up from "oh, that's bad" to "the end is here, the wrath of God is upon us."

Rev 6:12And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Notice in verses 15-17 above, He does get their attention...No its not 'global warming' and its a lot more than 'climate change,' its called the wrath of God.  But we are not there yet.  We are still in the beginning stages:

Matt 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

He has our attention, but there is still work to do.  Others need to be awakened from their slumber.  The sooner the people on this earth see and understand the hand of the Almighty in what is happening, the better.  In all of the sorrow the world has recently experienced, there is still hope.  The hope is in repentance, fasting, praying
and obedience.  Mankind has to yield.  We must bend the knee and confess that God is God and we are just mankind, weak and short lived.  Any worth, any value we have is to be found in Christ alone.

This ^^ is what is playing out before our eyes.  Space rocks are also falling on the earth recently with greater intensity.  The sun is getting very active at a time when scientists believed it should be going to sleep.  These are all steps in the multi-staged divine plan to disabuse the inhabitants of earth of their false notions.  "Global warming" is not causing space rocks to fall on the earth.  And the carbon dioxide from your SUV isn't causing the sun to emit multiple serious X class flares back to back.  No, its the hand of God working to get our attention.  For some, it is working.  He has our attention.  For others its going to take more sorrow to turn their faces up.  Either way, His will, will be done here on earth just as it is in heaven.  Glory to God.
