Babylon Burning

Do you remember seeing news reports on/after 9/11 where all across the world, even in places that supposedly hate America, people were mourning and grieving what happened in New York? I really believe that was a foreshadowing, a glimpse into whats coming in America's future. Here's another glimpse into the future of this country:

Revelation 18

1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. 7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; 23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

There are those who say that America is not Babylon, but I say if the shoe fits...wear it. Just take a look at New York city alone. It's home to the United Nations..a babylonian WORLD governance body. It's the home of Wall Street and Madison avenue, the commercial hub of the entire world. Have merchants grown filthy stinking rich off of committing fornication with her? You bet they have. Who runs the treasury of this country? A WALL STREET banker. How controls literal BABYLON today? America does, so the king of America is the king of babylon. We have already seen how the people of the world mourned over her first burning (9/11), and the bible shows us a word picture of the merchants of the earth mourning her next burning.

Babylon is a city, and its a system, and its a religion, and they are all intertwined together. As with many other things coming during the end times, the priests of babylon (americas pastors) don't want to acknowledge the sin and wickedness in this country. I can understand why, because its a major indictment on themselves and the SYSTEM they serve.

Revelation 18:4
... I heard another voice from Heaven, which said, "Come out of her, My people, that you may not become partakers in her sins, nor receive a share of her plagues. ...

How many preachers and teachers today and telling people to come out of the babylonian system? Not many because they themselves are part of it, and to tell people to leave it would affect "tithes" /fee for "service" and we know that's OFFLIMITS....

All indications are, things are going to get really super bad this year. Will the world see Babylon burned this year? I don't know, but she's been burned once already, who's to say this next time it's not the final time?

17:1 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me,
"Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits on many waters. 2 With her the kings of the earth committed adultery and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries."
3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 5 This title was written on her forehead:
MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Rev 17:6 I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus.
When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.

Revelation 17:16 ... And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore,and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her

One only has to think of Manhattan with its great skyscrapers, the twin towers of the world trade centre, which are monuments to mankind's achievements, when they are destroyed commerce will be destroyed and those who used it to become rich will mourn her passing. Hailey comments that she is the third of Satan's three methods of destroying the church after the two beasts who represent political power and false religion or false doctrine. She represents the world of lust, all that appeals to the flesh or the mind and entices and seduces us away from God, just as she successfully enticed the kings and inhabitants of the earth away from God. This can be seen by the image of her destruction in which she is a great millstone being hurled into the sea; thus she represents the temptations of the world causing believers to be tempted into sin (Mat 18:6).
In considering the identity of the woman the following points need to be considered:
She is described as the prostitute who is to be contrasted with the bride (the church).
Babylon the earthly city is to be contrasted to the heavenly city, the new Jerusalem.
The great city is described figuratively as 'Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified' (11:8).
She sits on many waters which are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.
She is to be distinguished from the beast upon whom she sits and who destroys her.
She is the city of power, excessive luxury and great wealth.
She persecuted the saints.
She rules over the kings of the earth.
She is associated with music, trade, farming, marriage, merchants and persecution.
With her the kings of the earth commit adultery and the inhabitants are intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries
In view of the emphasis of the book that only God is to be worshipped she should be viewed as the temptress who tempts men away from God.

Once again, I don't think its too difficult to pin a rose on the offending party here. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, looks like a duck, smells like a duck, swims like a duck, and flies like a duck...it just might be a....................................DUCK!

So argue away I say, argue that this thing (America/New York City) are'nt the heart and soul of todays babylonian system. While you're arguing please show me the evidence for ANY other country/city that even comes REMOTELY CLOSE to meeting all the requirements listed to be the great whore of our day. People have argued that the whore is Rome and the vatican, but I don't see any stock exchanges or PR advertising/pollute your mind firms in vatican city...so Rome fails the economic test of all the merchants of the earth lamenting her destruction. Why would the merchants of the earth wail and lament rome burning? We're talking about COMMERCE..MAMMON..the lust of the FLESH....we're talking about America and New York City. Rome and the catholic church is the mother harlot of so called christianity. The protestants are daughters of the spiritual harlot which is the roman church. The roman church is part of the whore but does'nt meet all the qualifications that America/New York city does for being the whore that is hated and gets burned, lamented by merchants etc.

New York has been hit once already, but that was just an appetizer for the main course to come.

Who else in the world, as a NATION has lived more "deliciously" than America has? Which other nation has committed fornication with the kings of the earth more than America has? Which country has exported more PORN and WAR and every other form of filth than America has? And yet your pastors still try to tell you (with a straight face) that we are a 'christian' nation? Says who? The servants of the Most High God are scattered over every nation, tribe and tongue in the world. If there's anything special about America its the amount of WEALTH she has been able to generate over such a short period of time (couple hundred years).

The sins of this country in particular are stacked up to the sky and they reek the stench of DEATH. The wages of sin is death, and this country is sagging with the weight of its sins.

I'm sure all this offends some people senses of "nationalism" but if you are a "nationalist" you don't belong to the kingdom that is not of this world which IS the kingdom of the Son of God..a kingdom NOT of this world.

With all this said, the moral of the story is, if you live in America, you live in Babylon, the home of demons and devils and every filthy thing. Is it any wonder its so hard to enter the kingdom of heaven while living in this pit of wickedness?

The Lord said "come out of her my people" that you won't share in her punishments. The time to obey that command is today.

It appears that 2009 will be a year that Babylon/America is brought to her knees. Financially speaking, its happening on TV every day. I will be shocked if at the end of this year, America is even recognizable for who she once was. America, whose pagan symbols plaster every dollar bill, whose egyptian obelisks in Wash DC and secret satanic societies rule all the high places of government and commerce, will be brought low, and we will see (probably) the beginning of these lows this year.

The "writing is on the wall" but can you read it? The "writing on the wall" is a reference to the old king of babylon, who saw the message of destruction proclaimed against him written on a wall at one of his lavish parties. The writing is on the wall again...come out of the babylonian whore, which includes the babylonian form of churchianity you were sold since the time you left momma's womb.

Get a bible you can understand and read it. Get on your knees, alone with the Creator and open your heart to him. Stop trying to play hide and seek games with a God who sees your sin while you try to hide it. His grace is still extended to you today. There is a refuge from the storm that's coming, there is an ARK just like in Noah's day, and the ark's name is JESUS CHRIST, KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS. He's not playing games and neither should you. Time is alot shorter than you think. Repent, walk like Jesus did..he was sinless, be sinless, he was perfect, be perfect. Don't say "thats impossible" when you have the SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD living inside of you. Peter thought walking on water was impossible too, until he did it...then his faith waivered. Do not doubt.

The Ten Kings and Anti-christ

The bible tells us that the anti-christ only shows up after 10 kings are reigning.

Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Dan 724 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time

There are those who say that because these 10 kings have to rule first, and we don't see them today, the anti-christ and "doom and gloom" cannot be right around the corner. I have news for them.....

If you remember yesterday, this writer described the "non-linear" future that we most likely face, giving the events of 9/11 as an example. Everything that exists today as "life as you know it" could radically change tomorrow, in an instant. "Non-linear" means not in a straight line, unexpected things, things you don't see coming but are coming straight at you..etc. Who are these men who promise that doom and gloom are not at our door?

I'm not trying to make the case for why you should be depressed, I'm taking the opportunity to point out that its these very men, who misdirect you and deceive you into thinking you have more time than you actually have. Even if you have years ahead of you, is it wise to assume you do? Ever heard that saying "smell the roses?" That means smell them TODAY.

Earlier this week this writer posted on being ready today, but being patient for tomorrow (should we be here to see it). There's coming a day, a "non-linear day" when the people of this world are going to be shocked and awed again...and again..and again, by events they did not forsee because they have been misled by the hired hands within the jiffy lube-"service for fee (tithe)"-churchianity and...they are spiritually blind.

This weeks theme seems to be "anti-christ" rising week. There's no question in my mind that these days that we are living in are seeing the final prepatory touches to introduce anti-christ to the world. How long that takes is anyones guess, but a look around at the stress on people and the economic collapse that we are teetering on as a world should give us some clues as to how long things can drag on while we ride this freight train into a cliff wall.

What's going to happen when all the banks shut down for a month of two and people can't buy food, take out money, pay bills? Don't think it can happen? How many days of that do you think it would take to have people on their knees begging someone...anyone...to "rescue" them? Even if its the man of sin? That's the path we're on right now. Do you think the anti-christ system will be introduced when people are strong enough to resist it? Breaking down your resistance mentally, physically and spiritaully is the whole point of what we're going through right now. Why do you think the dumb-tube in your living room broadcasts doom to you 24/7? To break you down. They are selling you WORLDLY SORROW. This might help put it into context:

2Cor 7:10-For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Godly sorrow works what? REPENTANCE to salvation.....

I'd love to slap some happy shoes on and rest my head in a nice hole in the sand in my backyard so I could'nt see or hear what's coming, but I can't do that. Much of what needs to happen to have anti-christ arrive on the scene has already happened. The church is in full scale apostasy. What calls itself christianity resembles a worn out, circus side-show with church jargon splashed on top, rather than the the true body of Christ. They've got dancers and rock bands and theater plays and starbucks....everything but the POWER that comes with the presence of the Holy Spirit.

These things are said not to move you to fear, but to move you "in Christ" which is the only refuge from the mind blowing, unreal, "cannot grasp this" kind of evil thats already here, but yet to be unveiled. How will men react when the offspring of demons walk openly on the earth? As it was in the days of Noah, it will be here soon.

There is an escape coming from all thats about to happen. We must pray that we may be counted worthy of it. Do not be deceived, sin will get you killed. Unrighteous people will not inherit the kingdom of God. Those who mock God's word with the false assurances of how easy it is to get into heaven, reserve the darkest place in hell for themselves.

If it is so easy to get into heaven then why was this written...

1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, the ungodly and sinner -- where shall he appear?

or this

Matt 7:13 Go ye in through the strait gate, because wide is the gate, and broad the way that is leading to the destruction, and many are those going in through it; 14 how strait is the gate, and compressed the way that is leading to the life, and few are those finding it!

Phil 2:12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

If you are living an ungodly life right now, and your life is full of sin, I suggest you take a really cold shower and re-evaluate what you think the bible is actually saying to you. If you are trusting some hired hand "pastor" to figure out your eternal destiny for you then your problems warrant much more than fear and trembling. Those who are working out their salvation are doing it with fear and trembling. Those sinning their way down the broad path that leads to destruction are doing it with a smile and assurances from babylonian teachers that nothing they can ever do will land them in hell.... WAKE UP...time is that short

"Believe" and the Coming of Anti-Christ

I posted last week about seeing the word "Believe" in various places that looked out of place. I did'nt even take the above into consideration...

I've seen the word "Believe" written in script across shopping mall bags where normally you would see "JC Penny" or "Macy's" written. Now apparently somebody wants you to "Believe," question is, in what?

The ongoing campaign waged by the media to keep people wound up tight is proving effective. Instead of acting like human beings who can think and reason for themselves, people are choosing to "follow the herd" like a bunch of cattle. The bible tells us that "the herd" is headed in the wrong direction. The path to life follows a narrow road, and goes through a small gate (Matt 7:14). The broad path with the herd on it leads to destruction.

In the midst of the psycological onslaught, there is also a spiritual war. The darkness decending on this world isn't just a figment of your imagination, it's real. As light is removed, darkness moves in instantly. Here's the thing, you personally don't have to live in darkness like the rest of the herd. Jesus Christ can still be found today. In him there is no darkness at all. The light he can give you shines from within, no man can give it to you. There are many benefits to being "in Christ" ranging from eternity in heaven to peace on earth right now. The peace on earth I speak of is peace within YOU, not the world. This world has a destiny with the sword, death and hell. The day of the Lord approaches and its a day of vengance.

Fear is a real weapon, its the weapon of choice for the enemy. Fear works to kill steal and destroy you. The media machine is working overtime to keep you in fear. I recently heard a definition of fear:

What people fear may never materialize, but the impact on their internal life is the same as if the object of fear was real.

The bible gives us practical solutions to the problems of this world. Seek first the kingdom of God. If you are seeking the kingdom of God, guess where you focus is? The kingdom of God. If you are focused on Christ, and not the world, guess what that's going to do for your peace? Whatever you focus on you get more of. Focus on peace, you get more peace, focus on fear, you get more fear. This world is on a mission right now to keep you strung so tight that you almost break. The purpose behind keeping people wound tight is to prepare the way for the man of sin. When the anti-christ shows up with all the answers to todays problems, the emotional swing from where people are now, to where they'll be when the answers show up will be huge.

You have to ask yourself why the media machine is not spinning things more positively. They can report on whatever they want to, yet they choose to reinforce the negative. Nothing is accidental.

Our God controls when the anti-christ will appear. Our gathering together with Jesus is the control. When we leave this earth, destruction comes, just like it did when Noah went into the ark and Lot left Sodom. How much time before the Lord pulls us out of this place? Only he knows. The thing to remember is that while we wait, you don't have to be a member of the masses on the broad path that leads to destruction. One of the fruits of the Spirit of God is PEACE...inside you. What price would people pay today to have a taste of true inner peace? How much is it worth to be calm in the midst of any storm? Men chase after the world at the expense of their own souls. It does'nt have to be that way. Seek the kingdom that is not of this world and find a peace that is not of this world.

There's a price for that peace. We must be faithful and obedient servants. We must remain "in Christ." We have to have pure hearts. There is no peace for the wicked. How can anything in this world compare with an eternity in heaven and peace for our hearts while we are on earth?

Yea, we will have tribulations on this earth, that is to say, problems, but so do the wicked, the difference is, we have a peace that passes all understanding while we are going through our troubles.

Keep the faith, be pure just as he is pure. Time is short, grace and peace

Happy Is The Man

Psalm 32:2 Happy is the man in whom the Lord sees no evil, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

It's all about remaining "in Christ." We want to be branches "in the vine" that are NOT cutoff, because they are fruitful (John 15). How can we "remain in Christ?" In part, we can be people in whom the Lord sees no evil. Who is responsible for ensuring the Lord sees no evil in you? Who makes the decision of what to allow into the heart? You do. Who is responsible for ensuring there is no deceit in your spirit? You are. We each choose what to entertain in our minds and what to boot out. What is harbored in the mind, makes its way into the heart. You choose.

6. For this cause let every saint make his prayer to you at a time when you are near: then the overflowing of the great waters will not overtake him.
7 You are my safe and secret place; you will keep me from trouble; you will put songs of salvation on the lips of those who are round me. (Selah.)
8 I will give you knowledge, teaching you the way to go; my eye will be your guide.
9 Do not be like the horse or the ass, without sense; ...
10 The sinner will be full of trouble; but mercy will be round the man who has faith in the Lord.
11 Be glad in the Lord with joy, you upright men; give cries of joy, all you whose hearts are true.

We need to make our prayers to him today, at a time when he is near. HE..JESUS is our safe and secret place. People today need a safe and secret place to hide from the calamities that are befalling the world, Jesus Christ is it.

Luke 17 And as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the day of the Son of man. 27 They were feasting and taking wives and getting married, till the day of the overflowing of the waters, when Noah went into the ark, and they all came to destruction. 28 In the same way, in the days of Lot; they were feasting and trading, they were planting and building; 29 But on the day when Lot went out of Sodom, fire came down from heaven and destruction came on them all. 30 So will it be in the day of the revelation of the Son of man. 31 On that day, if anyone is on the roof of the house, and his goods are in the house, let him not go down to take them away; and let him who is in the field not go back to his house. 32 Keep in mind Lot's wife. 33 If anyone makes an attempt to keep his life, it will be taken from him, but if anyone gives up his life, he will keep it. 34 I say to you, In that night there will be two men sleeping in one bed, and one will be taken away and the other let go. 35 Two women will be crushing grain together; one will be taken away and the other let go. 36 37 And they, answering him, said, Where, Lord? And he said to them, Where the body is, there will the eagles come together.

The day of destruction that's coming will coincide with a departure. The day Noah entered the ark, destruction came, the day Lot left Sodom, destruction came, the day the true church "escapes" (Luke 21:36) destruction comes.

Today is a day to be pregnant with the promises of God concerning our future. If our God told us there would be an escape from all that's about to happen, then there WILL be an escape from all that's about to happen. If our God promised that a weak church that held onto his word would be kept from the hour of trial coming on the entire world, then that church WILL be kept from the trial. That's not opinion, its fact. Our God does not lie.

Luke 21:34 'And take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts may be weighed down with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day may come on you, 35 for as a snare it shall come on all those dwelling on the face of all the land, 36 watch ye, then, in every season, praying that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.'

Rev 3:10 'Because thou didst keep the word of my endurance, I also will keep thee from the hour of the trial that is about to come upon all the world, to try those dwelling upon the earth.

Let these promises grow within you today. The Lord's promises have never failed to do what they promised to do in the past and I do not expect they will fail in the future. What you believe will happen (or not) may just be your reality in the future. If you do not expect to "escape ALL" as promised in Luke 21:36, then you most likely won't. If you do not have faith to be kept from the hour of trial in Rev 3:10, then you probably won't be kept from the hour of trial. According to your FAITH things are done unto you,

Matt 9: 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

so you need to carefully examine what you really believe. Men of all walks of life, all religions etc have observed that what people believe tends to determine what shows up in their life.

I believe in the near future the wise virgins will be separated from the foolish virgins (Matt 25). The wise have oil in their lamps today, which means they are full of the Spirit of Jesus, which means they are "in the vine" John 15, which means they are "in Christ." Remain in him today, believe that what our Lord said would happen, will happen for you. Our God is no respector of persons, but he IS a respector of faith (Matt 9:28-29).

A Word About Christ-Mass and 2009

It's that time of year again. In the past I railed against the pagan holiday that has been "christianized" called "christmas. I see two sides to this issue now. The first side is that christmas originated in paganism, and through history, became "christianized." Have looked into it myself, that day has been ruined for me. On the other hand, I see legal ground in the bible for a person to celebrate any day they want to, as long as its "to the Lord."

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

So if you celebrate chistmas (pagan origins and all) I see a legal argument for you to do that. I you dont celebrate christmas because of its pagan origins, you also do that "to the Lord." As things stand, I tolerate christmas because other apparently don't care about the paganism involved or don't know. Christmas is like everything else in this world, tainted and impure. i was shopping yesterday for some food and there were christmas carols playing in the supermarket and they just sounded out of place. You could look around at people's faces and see the tension, see the strain. These days are not days for "happy holiday" songs, they are days for serious reflection and repentance. Repentance means turning away from sin (and not returning to it).

As I look ahead to 2009 I see tribulation-like events taking place. This world is dieing. There are man-made calamities coming, and there are earth calamities coming. I am surprised that the world has come this far without going belly up. The trend line is unmistakable and there's no end in sight for the fall this world is taking. There are those who criticize us for looking for the escape promised in Luke 21:36. That escape is to enable those worthy of it, to leave this place before punishment and wrath falls. Why should those who do not deserve to be punished be punished? If you are "in Christ" your sins have been removed from you as far as the east is from the west. You have become sqeaky clean, by grace, through faith. Those who are not "in Christ" have a stack of sins on their head starts at their feet and reaches into the heavens, and they will be held accountable for each and every one of them.

Jesus came and died for us for a reason, to atone for mens sins. You get credit for Christs deeds when you are "in Him" "in Christ" which is why it is repeated over and over again "remain in me" "abide in me" Why? So you get credit for what has been done. Time is short. So called christianity is rotten and getting worse by the day. The proof of wholesale apostasy in churchianity today is the lack of salt and light in the world today. Corruption, greed, death and decay are everywhere, along with churches on every street corner. If these churches were salt, the world would'nt be a rotting corpse that it is today.

This blog was started in part, to let people know that true christianity still exists APART...SEPERATE from the apostate form of Christianity we see in 90+% of the churches today. If you tried what you thought was christianity in the past, and left with a bad taste in your mouth, join the club, but please don't think that's all that's out there for you. There is a pure, true God out there. There is the true son of God who may be found by you today. Go pick up a version of the bible you can understand and start taking baby steps with it. Read Psalms and proverbs first. Don't try to tackle it all in a day, be patient. The truth WILL set you free, if you really want it. You can find the truth if you really want it. The God of creation can see in your heart to know if you are playing games or if you are serious about finding him. Peace for your soul is the reward for finding the truth. Look around you, what price would most people put on peace for their soul right now? They "go to church" and they are still troubled, no power, no peace, rot and darkness everywhere, why do they keep going back to get "serviced" by Jiffy Lube christianity?

The hand of grace is outstretched to you today. Our God has not started the cleansing process that will wreak havoc on this world yet. You can get right with him today. The life boats are about to part ways with the sinking ship and I'd like you to be on one of those boats. I can't find the truth for you, I can't be intimate in relationship with Christ for you, YOU have to do it. You can do it. Summon what little strength you have left today, and inch toward the Creator of all things, and see how very good he really is. You are dearly loved, grace and peace

A Word of Encouragement

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good;How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

I want to let you know today that taking refuge in the Lord is something real not some pie in the sky "nice to do" figurative thing. As we face off with the dark days ahead, this refuge would be a smart place to take up residence. This God that I know, has never..EVER let me down. Time after time after time, he has come through for me and my family, and I am among the very least of his servants.

Terrible times are ahead, but there is still a place to take refuge, there is still an escape ahead of us. Yes satan is going to have a go at his age of aquarius, satanic kingdom, but he does'nt get long to enjoy it. Our God is not going to sit around and play checkers while satan is running amuck on earth. We no longer have to sit around waiting and wondering when the end of the age will be, we can see it right in front of our faces. Predictably, we have people (like the pope) telling us its not the end of the world. I guess we're all about to find out now are'nt we?

The things that are about to happen will cause tremendous fear in people. People will be in shock and awe that what's coming could happen to them. "I never thought it would happen to me" heard that before? What is coming is a time of wrath and punishment. Take your eyes of whats happening in the world for a minute and look at things from God's perspective. He said it was coming, and now here it comes, is anyone really surprised? I'm not, but many will be. Even today, there are many who doubt that our God is a God of his word. If he said he was going to do it, believe it, its gonna happen. Those who are found "in Christ" are not destined for wrath, thats plainly stated in our bibles. Wrath is for the unbeliever and the sinner, for the faithless. If you call yourself a christian and find yourself faithless today, you should be worried, I'm not going to sugarcoat it for you. We are saved by grace THROUGH FAITH. Without faith, there's nothing to be saved "through."

If you lack faith, go back to the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ, who gives liberally. Don't slip into fear, let me repeat that, don't slip into fear. Fearfull things are coming, true, but greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, remember that. Our God is a real refuge, more secure than any bunker the governmen could build you inside a mountain somewhere.

This world suffering for its sin. Payback is WAY overdue for the evil that men have done, for the wickedness, selfishness, greed, haughtiness, arrogance, its simply payback time. Here's a picture that brings a smile to my face, because I see men like Bush, paulson, bernanke, greenspan when I think of it:

Rev 6 the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; 16 and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Today, the men who are raping and pillaging the countryside think their money will hide them from disaster. They think their secret societies and satanic oaths will protect them. It won't be long before they are hiding in the rocks, and they know what a HUGE mistake they've made.

Various Points

Things on my mind this morning:

Point 1: 1 Tim 4 And the Spirit expressly speaketh, that in latter times shall certain fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons.

I don't go looking for places to bash OSAS (once saved always saved) over the head, its just that everywhere I read in the bible, theres something screaming that OSAS is a lie. I can't read anything without seeing something that debunks OSAS and its teachers. Take what is written above for example....

that in latter times shall certain fall away from the faith...fall away from the faith? Yep, thats what it says. How can you fall away from a faith you never had? You can't. OSAS teachers would have you believe that you cannot fall away from the faith, either that or they will teach you that you need no faith to be saved. Either way, their goose is cooked. You are saved by grace, through faith, no faith, nothing to be saved through=no salvation. It's that easy. If faith is necessary for salvation (it is) and you fall away from it, you are'nt 'in Christ' any longer and if you are not 'in Christ' your sins have not been covered=no salvation. 'In Christ' all sins are forgiven, not 'in Christ' =no sins forgiven.

2: The 'ministry?' aka the 'clergy'....the nicolaitan clergy/laity system that Jesus hates (Rev 2-3), again from Timothy:

1 Tim 4:6 These things placing before the brethren, thou shalt be a good ministrant of Jesus Christ, being nourished by the words of the faith, and of the good teaching, which thou didst follow after

Thats it, no fancy office, no 'clergy' implications at all, a servant....wow, deflates the separation between 'clergy' and laity huh? There is no clergy, no laity in the true body, just a bunch of servants. That pretty much lets all the air out of churchianity right there. No egos to support, no big church buildings as monuments to men, just a bunch of nobody servants doing the will of Jesus Christ, most of the time with little notice by the world.

3. People have been blessed to death

I heard some guy on tv this weekend say (correctly) that people have been blessed to death. Bless bless bless is all we hear from todays apostate church, where's the repentance?

The signs are mounting pointing to the imminent return of Jesus for his bride. Everything happening in the world right now points to the collapse of the old world order, and the continued building and implementation of the satanic new world order that the anti-christ will rule.

What's going on in the world these days?

Wars and rumors of wars. Financial collapse. Large scale, widespread apostasy within the church, natural disasters (cat 3 hurricane hitting cuba in November) and men turning to other men for answers to the worlds problems. I'm not sure what else could be thrown at men to get their attention. The past couple of days I have been greatly impressed with how terribly bad things are going to be for people who are not 'in Christ.' I would not wish the terrors of hell on my worst enemy. I recently wrote a post called I hope I'm wrong because of the weight of how very very bad the things that are coming on the world are going to be.

I was also humbled during the same time realizing that both the just and the unjust are doing things for God. Doing 'good works' is something true servants of Christ do, but so do the hypocrites and liars who do not know and are not known by Jesus (matt 7:23). Many men are deceived into thinking that because they preach the gospel, they will be saved. Preaching the gospel is something that gets men saved, but there are many who preach it who will not be saved. That's a rather sobering thought.

Matt 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

We must test ourselves to determine if we are still 'in the faith.' We have to maintain a healthy fear of the Lord. The kingdom we belong to is a kingdom of love, but we must be worthy of it. Christ is our worthiness, we must remain 'in him' so we get credit for his completed work. He is everything. The bible says we should be striving to make our election sure, why bother if OSAS were true? OSAS is not true.

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

What does the Holy Spirit mean by DO THESE THINGS? OSAS teachers tell me that I don't have to 'do' anything? What does IF mean? IF.....I DOOOOO these things? IF I DO? Give diligence to make my calling and election sure? Notice it does NOT say make my rewards sure, it says make my calling and election sure..BIG DIFFERENCE.

Time is short for this world. People are stocking up on guns, ammo, survival supplies, etc, think they feel like time is short? What do they think is going to happen? These people, most of them don't even know Jesus, they just see where the world is headed. The economy is on the verge of collapse, forget the stock market, the weight of medicare and social security alone is enough to bankrupt the country like 7 times over. Add to that the inflation of the dollar, the derivatives and credit default swap casino that still has'nt erupted in full force, the fiat, print money out of thin air system and what you've got is the collapse of the economy.

I've asked the Lord about doing the survivalist thing many times now, and I do not have even a shred of inspiration to get prepared for the things that are about to slap the world across the face. Why? Luke 21:36. There is an escape coming. This escape is not partial, its an escape from ALL thats about to happen. From a biblical perspective, what is ALL thats about to happen? Wrath, tribulation. I see the church up until Rev 5, then I see seals opened (Rev 6) WRATH and 144,000 Jews, NOT THE CHURCH being sealed in Rev 7.

I've read recently how between now and Jan 20 there might be a strike on Iran, which could very well ignite WW3. That could happen today, we don't know. We do know that we should be ready, watching and choosing things in our life that please our master. If we love him, we will obey his commands. We should be motivated both by our love for Jesus which pulls us toward heaven, and our fear of hell, which pushes us away from hell like a boot to the rear end.

Time is short, the church is weak but we hold onto Christ's word and we do not deny his name. A door is about to open in heaven, be a wise virgin with oil in your lamp. Things are about to get so bad here on earth that mens minds will have a hard time processing them. What's about to happen has NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE and never will be seen again. This world is about to be invaded by a demonic army that will walk openly on the earth. The bible says that mens hearts will fail them for FEAR of whats coming on the world. Can you imagine how frightening something would have to be to cause your heart to fail you from fear?

The clock is ticking. Look at whats going on in the world. How long do you think this world has before things turn upside down? Things are already turning upside down, remember the story of the frog in water, the heat goes up little by little? Thats the world today, do you see it?

Words For Today

Prov 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

If you want to know why we are in the mess we are in today, read the above. The prosperity of fools will destroy them. Well, this country has been prosperous for a long time now. People become prosperous and forget the Lord. It happened over and over again in history and its happening again.

A look around at what calls itself christianity today ties in closely with this idea that the prosperity of fools shall destroy them:

Rev 3:And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Be zealous and repent He says. How many ZEALOUS christians you see around these days? How many christians do you see who have REPENTANCE on their mind on the time? Not many. When Jesus comes back will he find faith on earth? True christianity is not some complex thing you need a college degree to figure out. If you have not done so, ask the Lord to give you His Spirit, without Him you cant understand anything the way you should. Time is short.

The next events the bible lays out for us are THE ESCAPE and WAR. I see WAR coming soon. Guess what countries do when they cant fix their economy any other way? Start a war. War accomplishes many things, population reduction, jobs, maybe you even get to wipe out the people you owed money to. War gets peoples minds on something else besides how bad the economy is. WW3 has been on the back burner simmering now for years. Any day now I expect that the pot will start to boil over and things will get out of hand....quickly. If WW3 is coming soon, so is the escape.

The servants of the evil one have planned WW3 as the anti-christs 'coming out' party. I don't think we'll be here to see that. None of us know exactly how much time is left before the escape, but we can see that we are plunging rapidly into the tribulation world, which means the rapture must be close. Be watching, be ready, keep the faith, be a good soldier of Jesus Christ, endure hardship, seek the Lord's face, do what you can do today, we might not get tomorrow.

Putting Today in Context

With all the things going on in the world today, we can find comfort in knowing what the future holds. We don't have to guess like everyone else. Our Father tells us the end from the beginning. What has our Father told us to expect next?

Looking at the book of revelation, it appears this is the sequence for the beginning of the end:

Rev 1,2,3 Jesus speaking to the churches-----------GET RIGHT AND STAY RIGHT
Rev 4 A door open in heaven, come up here-------THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH
Rev 5 A FEW....REDEEMED MEN IN HEAVEN from every tribe tongue and nation, AND a SLAIN BODY in heaven-----see Luke 21:37---rapture rapture rapture written all over it
Rev 6 Jesus (not satan) opens the SEALS and the tribulation horrors are unleashed

There are those who say that today is just like 'bad times' in years past, and we'll 'get through this' like we always have in the past. At least, thats what they are hoping for. I would argue that today is NOTHING LIKE the bad times of yesteryear, and WE AINT SEEN NOTHING YET for 'bad times.' Even the most optimistic of the financial prognosticators on TV are now acknowledging that we are now in a mess that wont be over anytime soon. Again, financially speaking, there have NEVER been CDS-credit default swaps, derivatives and the other casino style financial instruments that now exist to threaten the entire world financial system. It will take a MIRACLE to prevent total, absolute financial COLLAPSE in this world in the near future, that is..over the next 12 months or so.

What will happen if the entire world financial system collapses? CHAOS
Men in positions of power in todays world believe in ORDER OUT OF CHAOS. That order will be instituted by the man of sin, also known as the anti-christ.

So....without having to get into any complex hypothesizing, we can see the very real, very possible, very IN YOUR FACE tribulation world. Its right there, not down the road, RIGHT THERE in front of YOU. Theres no question in my mind that our Lord, who IS IN CHARGE, can extend or shorten the timeline to match his will so its impossible to nail down anything. The bible tells us if we dont watch, he will show up, come upon us 'like a thief' but if we ARE watching, it should not be like that. Can't you see it coming?

With 1000 point drops in a day for the stock market, things could get very ugly in a matter of days...any day now. Something else to note about these last days we are living in today is how naturally things seem to flow together. When you read the bible, there are many dramatic events in there that would make you think 'hmmm, surely if people see THAT happen, they'll know that GOD did it.' Not so fast....the world and the devil are actively spinning/lieing events to explain them away as anything BUT bible prophesy being fulfilled. So standing here on earth, things look like bad days on earth, but not necessarily END TIMES bad days. You have to be WATCHING to see whats really going on.

The next event to happen is the pre-tribulation rapture of A FEW true believers who are left on this earth. There are many on earth today who call themselves christians but are carrying ALOT of baggage and probably will not make it out. Only half the virgins in Matt 25 were READY when the bridegroom showed up. From what I've seen throughout the bible, the numbers are much fewer than half. It's always a REMNANT that is spared. The masses never seem to 'get it'....ever. Things have become so volatile now, that any day now things can flip upside down, just like that..BANG, in one day. The two most proximate events are RAPTURE and WAR. The WAR piece includes the anti-christ being revealed and the peace treaty made with Israel, which is how the world should KNOW that the anti-christ is among them. That's also the event that starts the 7 year clock to Jesus return on the mount of olives.

We don't have to guess what the future holds, we already know. Rev 1-3 is Jesus speaking to the churches, telling them where they stand and what they need to do to be RIGHT STANDING with him. Righteousness is right standing. What is the Spirit saying to the churches TODAY? Read Rev 2-3. Thats where we are today. Thats where we will stay until Jesus flips the page over to Rev 4, OPENS THE DOOR IN HEAVEN AND SAYS.............COME UP HERE.

The message to you today is not a new one, its an old one: REPENT for the kingdom of heaven is near. If you are "in Christ" the kingdom of heaven is INSIDE YOU. He is the vine, you are a branch. "IN the vine" you are saved. If you are a branch that the Father CUTS OFF and throws into the fire......well, you figure out what that means (John 15). Time is short, keep the faith, be strong. The Lord is with us and in us, of whom should we be afraid?

The Beast's Mouth

I was thinking about how clueless the leaders of churchianity are. They tell you to get out and vote, but why? They tell you to vote because THEY BELIEVE IN THE WORLD SYSTEM. Their FAITH is in this world's system. When you vote, NOTHING changes, it does'nt matter who gets in, they get richer, you get poorer. What you are really doing when you vote is casting a vote of CONFIDENCE IN THE WORLD SYSTEM. When you 'get out and vote' you are telling all the world around you that you 1. have confidence in the world system 2. you are looking to this world system for "change."

The men who tell you to vote are faithless, they are wordly with a capital W. They speak like the world, they act like the world, I guess they are OF THIS WORLD. We brothers...ARE NOT. I have NO CONFIDENCE in this world system to do ANYTHING good. People having been 'getting out to vote' for years now and look at this world..LOOK AT IT. This place is going to be a heap of ruins soon, and your clueless 'pastors' still tell you to throw in your lot with the world. How utterly sickening.

I'm looking for change alright. If men could bring the kind of change required for this world, there would be no need for Jesus to set his feet again on the mount of olives and rip the cords of government away from EVERY MAN and take them for himself. Jesus is coming, and he is bringing HIS GOVERNMENT WITH HIM. You want 'change you can believe in?' Save your vote and start praying "THY KINGDOM COME LORD."

The entire history of mankind has been one screwup leading to another to the point where now the 'powers that be' are about to destroy the entire world. This place is falling apart, can't you see it? MEN got you here, and you're still voting? The bible says NOTHING about you voting. The bible says 1. THE LORD DIRECTS KINGS HEARTS and 2. PRAY FOR THOSE IN AUTHORITY..............that's it, PRAY, unless you are faithless like all the so called leaders of babylonianity. Prayer moves mountains, prayer unleashes the power of heaven. You, on your own can do NOTHING, or close to it, your PRAYER however...CAN ACCOMPLISH MIGHTY THINGS.

These men are instructed BY THEIR WICKEDNESS. The prod each other on as if they are doing a 'good' thing. They have forsake the Lord and they lie naked in bed with the world..ever the harlot. There is a price for playing the harlot. Todays so called leaders have given themselves over to this world, body soul and spirit. They want change, and they are going to get it. Unfortunately for them, they are going to find out when its too late that playing the harlot is sin, and the wages of sin are DEATH.

The beast system has come above ground and it sits with its mouth WIDE OPEN as the world walks casually into it. Todays so called christians say vote for the devils son thats against abortion and homosexuality. Meanwhile, so called christianities other poster child, George W Bush has taken some great strides against homosexuality and abortion right? NOT. If anything, homosexuality and abortion has picked up steam over the past 8 years, and George W-the so called 'christian' choice made it happen. So called evangelicals were the KEY to getting George Bush elected and THAT MANS 8 YEARS AS PRESIDENT DID MORE TO FURTHER THE SATANIC NEW WORLD ORDER THAN ANY MAN IN HISTORY. Congratulations so called christianity...GREAT CALL.

This worlds problems will be solved in time, by the Son of God. Coming soon to a town near you will be widespread DEATH. The opening salvo of the tribulation sees over 2 BILLION people dying. Those are souls committed eternally to either heaven or hell, and all so called christianity can tell you is 'get out and vote?' The tribulation is at our doorstep, I don't know if thats 1 day or 1 month away, it does'nt matter, its close. Billions of people are going to die, the bible says it (Rev 6) and the leaders of this world are planning for it. The people who are in charge today have a plan for no more than 500 million people to be left on this earth. That's something like a 90% population reduction. Time is short and all so called christianity can do is tell you to get out and get one of satan's sons into office. When...WHEN did Jesus EVER advocate 'choosing the lesser of evils?' People say that all the time now, "we have to choose the lesser evil" SAYS WHO? I vote for Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God EVERY DAY. I have NO CONFIDENCE...ZERO in this world or its leaders. I am not of this world, I am a stranger here, why should I get involved in this world's screwed up system. It's not up to us to fix this screwed up world, its up to us to pray THY KINGDOM COME, to be led by our Father's Spirit, to do good where and when we can. It's our job to LOVE the homosexual but HATE their sin, to LOVE the abortion doctor, but HATE his sin. If you want to live a quiet and peaceful life, PRAY FOR THOSE IN AUTHORITY, thats the extent of your 'political' duty.

I believe that prayer WORKS. I have proof of it...MY LIFE. This world needs true believers who are HUMBLE, who will repent and PRAY for Jesus to hurry up and bring his government to this world. If you sow a vote into this world, you will reap something from this world. We've seen how that has turned out over and over and over again.

Jesus started his pubic ministry around the age of 29-30, this guy is 35. I'm just watching. Yom Kippur in 2008 is on Thursday, the 9th of October.
Note that in the Jewish calander, a holiday begins on the sunset of the previous day, so observing Jews will celebrate Yom Kippur on the sunset of Wednesday, the 8th of October.

I get this nagging feeling that Yom Kippur 2008 isn't going to be a pleasant one. Yom Kippur is known as the "day of atonement." Its a last chance to set things right before your judgement is locked in. Its a time to make things that were wrong, right. I don't think its a bad idea from here on out, to start taking a look at whats going on with these feast days. If the Lord did not command the observance of the feast days as some kind of make work project for the Jews, perhaps theres something in there for us too.

I wish I had more specifics on the Lord's timeline, but I don't. What I have is two warnings to communicate: Come out of the apostate church, and be watching/be ready, because time is short. What does "time is short" mean? Well, I don't know. This message is in the bible, its not something new. My job is to remind you (and myself) of what has already been written. I've been saying "time is short" for over 2 years now, and guess what? Time is shorter than ever. Don't take my word for it, look around. I think time is really short for the true church on earth today, but time might even be shorter for any of us as individuals. People die every day, nobody guaranteed us tomorrow.

I expect that this country has some really bad news in store for it in the days to come. With that in mind, lets make today a day for soldiering. Today is a day for enduring hardship, for moving our Lord's kingdom forward in any small way that we can, while we still can. Keep the faith, BE WATCHING, be ready. One of your goals should be: to be found watching and ready on the day that Jesus shows up. I have no idea, no clue what day thats going to be, but it could be today. Remember the escape that was promised and pray to be counted worthy of it. To all of you who are in Christ, love, grace and peace

All These Things That Shall Come to Pass

The Bible speaks about many things that "shall come to pass" Here's a list of some of them:

and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

-many shall come in Jesus' name, saying, I am Christ
-wars and commotions
-Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
-great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
-Persecution
-ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
-ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies
-Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
-there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
-Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken

The list above comes from Luke 21, everything on the list "shall come to pass." Now, after laying out the list of everything that "shall come to pass," what does Jesus say?

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Question: have these things BEGUN to come to pass? You bet they have, so what should we be doing? Answer: lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Does Jesus stop there? Nope, he goes on to say in verse 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Here's the deal. There's a group of people alive today that has the following characteristics:

They are WATCHING for Jesus
They are PRAYING SPECIFICALLY that they may be accounted worthy to ESCAPE ALL the things in the list that Jesus spoke about above.

There are many in the world today who want to bury Luke 21:36, to act like it had never been written. It is a HUGE monkey wrench in their machinery. These people DO NOT BELIEVE that anyone will ESCAPE ALL that's about to happen. Since they do not believe that anyone will ESCAPE ALL, they DO NOT PRAY TO ESCAPE ALL. These people call themselves the mid-trib/pre-wrath and the post-trib crowd. They either believe we will go through at least half or all of the things Jesus listed as things "that shall come to pass."

There's alot riding on this. If its true that not only the believer, but also their family will ESCAPE ALL, the command to "pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" becomes pretty important. Noah escaped with his family, Lot escaped with his family (-1), Acts 16:31, Luke 17, Matt 24 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; (so shall it be in the days of the Son of man).

This is a fact: THERE IS AN ESCAPE from ALLLL that shall come to pass. Luke 21:36 guarantees that as FACT. Question is, are you praying for this escape promised in the bible? If not, WHY NOT? Jesus told you to pray for it. What are the consequences for NOT praying that you may be accounted worthy to escape all that's about to happen? Guess what, I don't know, and I don't want to find out. There is an escape, I was told to pray for it, in obedience I plan to do just that.

Time is short. I see things aligning in the world that point to a HUGE collapse of the institutions this world rely's on to conduct "business as usual." I don't know when exactly the rapture will occur, but I know for a fact that there WILL BE A GREAT ESCAPE, and I plan to be part of it, with my family. I am praying for it, I am believing for it. All those who are "in Christ" are in my prayers as well. Time is shorter than you think. Don't grow complascent like the virgins who fell asleep in Matt 25. Keep your lamps lit and FULL OF OIL. grace and peace

Times of Refreshing

What does the Lord say we should do so that we may be refreshed?

ACTS3:19“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

Repent and return. How hard is that? The problem is, the first step in any serious recovery program is ADMITTING THERE'S A PROBLEM, with who? With you.......I'm not pointing to anyone in particular of course, but repenting is an individual act, so is returning. That's why today's wolf in sheeps clothing pastors rarely if ever talk about it. They are smart, because if the true gospel was ever preached in 99% of todays churches, people would start to "get it" and walk right out the door. Why do you think the Jews were so upset when Jesus preached the gospel, because people left their religious system and started following Jesus. That effectively cut the jewish leaders off at the knees, no followers, no money, no money, no power, so as Jesus performed miracle after miracle, the Jews plotted how they could kill Jesus. Make no mistake about it, that pastor you idolize, who seems so nice, so pleasant, so "godly," if you mentioned "giving to God" anyplace other than their pocket, you'd see the VIPER come out, guaranteed. Come out from among them, REPENT and RETURN to your Creator, to Jesus the Son of God. You don't need a hired hand to guide you. IF...you are a child of the King, you sit at the King's table, what need do you have of a hireling to teach you what your Father wants to say to you? If you are married, do you ask some other man or woman to explain to you what your spouse wants to tell you him/herself? Does'nt that sound a bit retarded? It is, it's downright SICK. We are the bride of Christ, anyone or anything that tries to pry itself in between the bride and groom is an ENEMY...believe that. grace and peace

Time is short, the signs are everywhere. The servants of the enemy are now making their move to take control of the entire world for their master, satan. We know how this story ends, we win :-). Don't be complacent, don't be hypnotized by the droning of everyday life. For some of us, EVERYTHING is going to change for the better in the blink of an eye, likewise, everything is going to get infinitely worse for many in the blink of an eye. Thou Hast a Little Strength

Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Interesting words the Lord uses here for the few who will be in the faith at the time of the rapture. It says "for thou hast a little strength" , the word strength there is also used throughout the bible as "power, works, ability." The Lord knew, that only a few true believers would be left at the time of the rapture, and those that are around would only have a little strength/power/works/ability left in them.

There is so much insight packed into so few words there, it truly displays the glory of God in all it's magnificence.

Let's think about all the reasons why "thou hast a little stregth" here at the end.

A big one: nicolaitanism and apostacy have GUTTED the church. The body of Christ is supposed to be a bastion of strength for christians. Today it's hard to find another christian who is not christian in name only. Remember, right after Jesus telling us that only a few are going to make it into the kingdom, He then warns us of false prophets. Then He says this:

Matt7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Let's think about this for a second. Calling Jesus "Lord, Lord" (only so called christians and real christians call Jesus "Lord".) isn't enough. Prophesying in Jesus name isn't enough, casting out devils isn't enough, and in His name doing MANY WONDERFUL WORKS....ISN'T ENOUGH.

Do you know lot's of "church people" who call Jesus "Lord", do many "wonderful works, prophesy in His name, etc etc? Great, do you think that makes them a "good christian?" THINK AGAIN.

Only those who do the will of the Father in heaven will be permitted entry. Bible are available to all, look in yours to find out what the will of the Father is, it obviously ISN'T PLAYING CHURCH.....The church is not a social club, it is not a place to soothe your conscience, it is not a manmade organization, it is a LIVING ORGANISM, the LITERAL BODY OF CHRIST.

So, one of the reasons believers will "have little strength" is the gutting of the true church and true believers being scattered to the four winds, a few here, a few there. Along with the great apostacy/falling away of believers comes increased pressure on true believers from satan. Satan is not an infinite being, he has finite resources. He chooses to concentrate his resources on true believers, he does'nt need much to keep those who have already fallen tied to the whipping post. In addition to this are the numerous attacks on this jar of clay we live in, aka our physical bodies. There is currently a plan in motion to depopulate the earth down to 500 million people. Our bodies are under attack by the water supply (fluorine/chlorine), from the air we breathe (chemtrails, industrial pollutants), by viruses and bacteria that are becoming increasingly resistant to all known forms of medical remedy, by electromagnetic pollution (cell phones/cell towers/wi-fi). It's incredible, absolutely AMAZING, the resilience of the human body that our God created to withstand so many attacks and still keep ticking. The plan appears to be to keep people immune system CONSTANTLY SUPPRESSED fighting off constant attacks to the point where it becomes exhausted at which point (pick a disease) takes over and you kick the bucket. Once again, this statement "for thou hast a little strength" makes ALOT more sense, and it's more evidence of how very close to the end we are. Being of little strength does'nt mean we are defeated though, AU CONTRAIRE!! Let us consider:

Romans 8:34-36
34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

2 Thessalonians 1:3-5
3We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing. 4Therefore, among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. 5All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.
