Why?

Why will so few be saved?

Deuteronomy 4:29 "But from there you will seek the LORD your God,
... But if you look for the LORD your God when you are among those nations, you will find him whenever you search for him with all your heart and with all your soul ...

Proverbs 2:4 If you seek her as silver And search for her
... if you search for wisdom as if it were money and hunt for it as if it were hidden treasure

Matthew 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in
... "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field that a man found and hid. ...The kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hidden in a field.

You don't 'kinda' search for hidden treasure, either give your all to find it, or you end up empty handed. You have to search for Him with all your heart and all your soul, you know what that means? You have to really want Him. Most people really don't, they kinda want Him. Kinda wanting Jesus is why todays form of churchianity is so popular. People pay a hired hand (pastor) to deal with God, so they can 'get on' with their lives without interference.

If you feel like you've been searching for God and have'nt found him, check yourself. Do you really want Him?

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Yep, you have to really want it. You have to love the truth to have any hope of finding it.
You can't fake God out, He knows you better than you know yourself, he knows half-hearted when He sees it.

Search for Him today, this world will not see good days again until Jesus rules the kingdoms of this world from Jerusalem during the 1,000 year reign.
