Rebuttal of Apostate OSAS Teaching

I read another article today that repeats a popular Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) teaching. The OSAS twisting of the scripture goes like this:

They quote this:

"But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved" (Matt. 24:11-13)

then they make the astonishing statement that Matt. 24:11-13 does'nt mean what it says it means.

OSAS teachers claim that:
" But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved"
REALLY MEANS
"he that shall endure unto the end, won't lose their rewards"

Are your eyes deceiving you? Did "saved" all of the sudden become "rewards?" How did that happen?

They go through all kinds of contextual and linguistic aerobics to attempt to make "saved" not mean "saved" but instead mean "rewards." Sorry, saved means saved, period.

Now, if you speak and read english, you tell me, what does the bible say?

Do you have to endure to the end to be saved, or retain your rewards?

Matt 24:11-13 CLEARLY LINKS ENDURING TO THE END WITH SALVATION NOT REWARDS.

If OSAS teachers twist this VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD scripture to say something it does'nt say, what else are they twisting?

Christians who are taught the OSAS lie and are troubled by it, are troubled by it FOR A REASON. The Holy Spirit is confirming in them that what the bible says is true. It means what it says it means. Endure to the end if you want to be saved. It's stated clearly and simply in the bible. No need for PhD or seminary degrees to figure out what it means. You need to be saved before you can claim any rewards, think Jesus understands that? you bet he does.

They also like to quote this one:

“My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand” (John 10:29).

Yep, no external force will pluck you out of the Father's hand, but what happens when you WILLINGLY WALK AWAY/disown God? Does it make any sense at all to say that a man can "pluck himself" out of the Fathers hand? No. That's why the bible does'nt say that. You alone are responsible for where you end up. You have a God given free will. If you disown him, he will disown you.

2 Timothy 2:12 If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If
... If we endure, we will rule with him. If we disown him, he will disown us

OOPS, there it is again! IFFFFF WEEEE ENDUREEEE TO THE END! Don't let the OSAS false gospel tickle your ears. The men who preach it are accursed, have nothing to do with them. Galatians 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should
... But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contraryto what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!

It sounds harsh, and it is, but remember, I did'nt say the preachers of false gospels are cursed, THE BIBLE DOES!
