Luke 21
34“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with [h]carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch therefore, and pray always that you may [i]be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
The Lord God is a Master Wordsmith. He knows how to write a sentence to make it have the impact He desires. So when we look at how He characterizes the days before the unexpected return spoken about in Luke 21 above, note carefully how it is said:
34“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with [h]carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.
This ^^^ looks like the characterization of any ordinary day. Even more important to note, it does not paint a picture of extreme duress, trial or tribulation. He knows how to write Words that paint a tribulation picture and these Words above are not it. The picture painted in Luke 21 looks like today, a pre-tribulation day. So what? So we need to be watching and ready.
This servant is praying that the orange man will do the right things, however the Mike Johnson speaker endorsement was a giant meat cleaver in America's back. We already know the orange man is going to ride out into the world on a white horse immediately after taking office. He has already said so (making peace=white horse). That's not bad per se, but stacked up with all the other facts we see in the world the picture becomes troubling. Add to this the alien/orb narrative that is the number 1 candidate for the great deception in this servant's opinion. Then add the messiah like following the orange man has, then add the mark of the beast tech orange man's best buddy Elon has in his side pocket, then add in Mr Vivek's Hindu god belief system and hatred of American citizens and the list goes on. This is our intelligence picture for today.
The Lord told us to always be watching and ready for His unexpected return however when we see things from our perch on the wall that are troubling, we need to blow the trumpet to warn the people to increase their readiness/watching posture. That is what is being done here today. This servant is not a respecter of feelings in our walk with the Lord but there is a troubled, not restful, non peaceful feel or sense to days/weeks/months ahead.
So, what do we do about all this? Pray. Get right with Jesus Christ and stay right with Him. Stay in the Word to edify ourselves. Bind and loose, stand in agreement with each other and the Lord God. In short we need to do what we already know are the right things to do. We stand in agreement and alignment with the Lord God, His Will and His Word, then we stand in agreement with each other over the same Will and Word.
We can prepare ourselves further by rejecting this world and everything it has to offer in prayer before the Lord. We offer ourselves daily as living sacrifices holy and pleasing in His sight. We ask/pray daily to be refilled with oil (the Holy Spirit) from the soles of our feet to the hair of our head. We can yield our wills, our body to Him that He can speak, act, influence, shine light and life through us. These are all preparatory steps that this servant takes daily. Whether the Lord comes unexpectedly or not, this is the walk we should be walking on a daily basis as this servant understands it.
While we are here on this earth we have a job to do. We pray in our Lord's Kingdom and will here on earth just as it is in Heaven. We restrain rot, decay and darkness as we are salt and light. And we bring souls into the Kingdom as it is our Lord's will that all people everywhere be saved.
And as we walk through our day lets keep our eyes on Christ:

My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
