13“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
14“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Salt is suppressive, it suppresses rot and decay. The prayer list the Spirit of the Lord has provided indicates a scheme of suppression of the enemy over the entirety of the battlefield. The enemy attacked humanity on all fronts intending that in the end, there would be no place left to hide. Now the tables turn, and it is the Spirit of the Lord on the offensive who intends to leave "them" no place to hide.
If "they" are left alone to regroup, resupply, rest and relax we know what the result will be. For this reason there cannot be one hidey hole, one place of peace, one hide out, one dark corner that is not purged of the evil wickedness that has assaulted humanity without mercy or remorse.
The Lord God has raise up a battle standard against the enemy.

Salt and Light are the enemies of rot, decay and darkness. The presence of the Church on the earth today is evidence of the Lord's intent to continue this restraint of rot and decay and to drive out darkness wherever it is found. We don't know everything about the future but we do not need to. The Lord has that covered. We know the job that has been given to us and it is full time. We have alot of work to do, the work begins now.
