An Apology For Poor Writing

I went back to proof read some of my recent posts and oh my....The substance is there, but the writing is terrible. Thoughts are completely disjointed, sentences are hard to read, grammar is terrible. This writer composed the words and he can barely sit through a reading of the blog posts. Sorry!

What is written on this blog is inspired by what the Lord shares with this writer, but the way this writer expresses those ideas has been terrible. It might be work to read the posts here but please don't give up on me yet. I realize that my writing has been terrible and the first step to improving anything is realizing there is a problem.

A prayer for Brother D:

Lord, please help Brother D to be a better writer. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Earthquake in "Christchurch" New Zealand

This writer usually does not address topics such as this, however, where the Spirit prompts, I must follow. Notice with me that "Christchurch" was recently literally shaken violently. Those with eyes that see should consider the implications of such an event on the physical and spiritual level.

Earthquakes are one of the signature events of the book of Revelation. The book is full of them. As we move through the beginning of the end of all things as we know them in this world, the church will be judged first:

1 Peter 4:17 For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?

As it was written here in days past, the church's time of "testing" is right now. Our time of judgement is right now. The world has something else coming to it. The world has something much much worse in store for it. The church is not treated like the world, it never has been and it never will be. There is a time coming when the church will be removed and the Lord's dealing with mankind will be changed. Israel was not treated like the church, the world is not treated like the church. Jesus is the difference. What was done by the Son of God on the cross is awe inspiring for those who understand it.

We would be wise to get our "house" in order today. There are signs in the sun, moon and stars today, just as the Lord said there would be. We were told to "look up" when all these things begin to happen:

Luke 21:25

... “And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of
nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the wave

Luke 21:28 ...

... So when all these things begin to happen, stand and
look up, for your salvation is near!"

Look up is what we were told to do. Things have begun to happen that we were told would happen which means we should "look up". If you look up these days you'll see alot of chemtrails so you literally cannot see the way you should see. If you "look up" using software such as "google sky" and other astronomic viewing engines, you will see sections of the sky blacked out/excised/censored so you cannot see what is up there (if you look in the right places). Why would "the powers that be" not want us to look up?

As with many things, there are at least two meanings behind all true wisdom:

Job 11:6

and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides.

We are to "look up" both physically and spiritually. The powers that be in this world do not want you seeing something that is visible in the skies...right now.

Hatred of Christianity and the Escape

Every day that goes by, more people come out of the woodwork to display their hatred of Christianity. Many if not most Christians fall into the category of one of the 5 churches of revelation that are threatened by Jesus. "Christians" today refuse to take the Word of God at face value. They refuse to accept the Word as a child would because they are sooooooo smart, and soooooo edumacated that they now know better than even Jesus what Jesus "meant to say" in the bible.

Jesus said there is an escape from all that is about to happen and we are to pray for it. Many refuse to do this, they refuse to obey and they verbally and personally attack any who do believe. Woe unto them. Noah escaped, Lot escaped, some of us will escape IF we are found worthy. These things are written to you today in fear and trembling.

Everything that can be shaken in this world, is being shaken. You don't need this writer to tell you that. You can see it with your own eyes. Many can even feel it in many different ways. If your roots are not deep, if you do not really believe, you may be in danger of being uprooted by the shaking going on in the world:

Hebrews 12:27 And this [word], Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

The Lord reminded this reader of something very encouraging recently. We have been called to grace (through faith) and peace. We have been called to mercy and forgiveness. What is it about these things that people find so distasteful? We have been called into a simple faith in Jesus Christ. What the world scorns is highly treasured in the Kingdom of Heaven, and what the world treasures is scorned by our Kingdom. Believing like a child is mocked by this world. The worldly think they are sooooo smart these days. Don't you know, they have technology! Yet with all mankinds pomp, they still cannot cure the common cold....
While this world mocks, while hatred of the way of truth advances, while those who call themselves "christians" turn away, every Word written in the Bible is coming true. As more scorn and abuse is heaped upon believers, this writer becomes more firmly entrenched in his belief. The evidence is stacking up that every Word that came from the mouth of God is true. Isn't it ironic that as the evidence mounts for the accuracy of the bible, more turn away? How strange. Events are unfolding precisely as the bible said they would.

Keep the faith. Be sure of what you believe in. Get your revelation of what is happening in the world from God Himself, from Jesus Christ. The words of men cannot feed and satisfy you, only the Word of God can do that. The Holy Spirit always points you toward Jesus Christ. This writer is pointing you towards Jesus Christ. He is the only answer we need. He is all sufficient, more than willing and able to meet every need we have. Be patient. While this world suffers through the beginning of sorrows, we who believe have this treasure in jars of clay, a peace that transcends all understanding. Thanks be to God for all His kindnesses towards us who believe!

Theses are the thoughts this writer believes the Lord has impressed upon him over the past few days. Grace and peace

A Word of Encouragement

The Pre-tribulation rapture/escape from all will happen, just as the Lord said it would. There is absolutely, positively an escape coming. Tell me there is no rapture? Okay, call it an escape, call it whatever you want. The fact is, the Lord said there is an escape coming, and we are to pray that we are counted worthy of it. That is a fact. That is a direct, non "spiritualized" reading of the Word of God from Luke 21:34-36. In the presence of 2 or 3 witnesses let all things be established right? Luke 21:36-1 witness. The story of Lot-2 witnesses (Matt 24, Luke 17, Gen 6, Gen 19). The story of Noah-3 witnesses (Matt 24, Luke 17, Gen 6, Gen 19). The door open in heaven and redeemed, rewarded men sitting on thrones in heaven-4 witnesses (Rev 4, Rev 5). Wise virgins allowed into a "door" while the foolish coming knocking on that door and are not allowed in-5 witnesses (Matt 25, Rev 4). Nowhere in the bible...NOWHERE do you see an example of the righteous sharing in 1. wrath, 2. vengeance, 3. judgement that is poured out on the wicked-6 witnesses, and I could go on....

Wrath, vengeance and judgement are what the tribulation are about. The time of Jacob's trouble (not the churches trouble, Jacobs's..) that time has a purpose. Is the purpose of the time of Jacob's trouble to somehow "purify" the church? If you answered yes to that, you have no revelation whatsoever of what Jesus did on the cross. What did Jesus accomplish on the cross? Read up on it. The true church is in "right standing"=righteousness, right now because of what Jesus did. Are our sins covered under the blood right now or not? If you are "in Christ" then they are. Are you completely forgiven right now if you are "in Christ" or not? Yes, if you are "in Christ" then your sins are completely forgiven. Does the church need to be tested in the tribulation or has the testing of the church been ongoing since Jesus ascended into heaven?

This testing below, is the testing you and I go through each and every day:

James 1:3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops ...

because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. ... for you
know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. ...
//bible.cc/james/1-3.htm - 16k

Hebrews 3:8 do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion ...

do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion,
during the time of testing in the desert ...
//bible.cc/hebrews/3-8.htm - 16k

The testing above is the testing of the church. There is a different kind of testing coming for the world, not the church, the world, and we will be kept from it because we have already been tested and found worthy (or not-reread Luke 21:34-36)

Revelation 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently ...

... "Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great
time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those wh
Each passing day, more people come out of the woodwork to bad mouth, deny, etc the escape from all that is coming. The hatred is demonic. Those who hate the idea of an escape, hate it in part because they have no revelation that they will take part in it, and if they are not going to escape, they do not want anyone else to escape either. Sorry to inform them, the escape IS coming, just like Noah escaped the flood of his day, just like Lot escaped the fiery judgement of his day, just like the Philadelphian church is told they will not be "tested" with the fiery trial coming on the entire world. The door of the Ark is wide open today, the ramp is down, and myriads of people, many of whom call themselves "christian" refuse to step foot on the ramp.

We can enter the Ark of our day by faith alone. You will not see those people "on the way up" who have no faith in the promises Jesus gave us.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

As you believe you receive, they do not believe, they will not receive. I did not say that, Jesus did:
Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! It will be done just as you believed
it would
." And his servant was healed at that very hour

Matt 25 tells us about wise and foolish virgins. The foolish virgins had not the faith, the preparation to take oil in their jars. People say the oil signifies the Holy Spirit, and that is partially true. They skip over the obvious meaning to arrive at a deeper meaning without first taking into consideration the first, most straightforward, literal meaning.

What did the wise virgins do? They brought oil for their lamps. Okay, great, why do you need oil in your lamp? Literally, what is a lamp used for? To WATCH, to SEE, to LOOK. Occam's razor, the simplest most straightforward meaning wins the day. Lamps are used to create light so people can see. Why the need to see? Because the wise virgins are WATCHING. Oil is needed for light, light is needed for sight, sight is needed to watch. Our Lord told us to watch...Oil is needed to watch. He told us that He was coming back for us to take us where He is and He told us to be watching for His return.

Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch

The foolish virgins are the pre-wrath, post-trib, naysaying, scoffers who call you a fool for watching for the Lords return today and every day, but who are the fools really?

Are the "other" tribbers looking, watching for the Lord's return today? No, they are not. They are not watching, therefore their lamps are not lit, which is why they brought no oil for their lamps, which is why they are the foolish virgins of Matt 25. Why would people watch for an event that they do not believe will happen? Why would these people bring oil for their lamps to watch today, when according to them, they have time to get oil later (after all their supposed pre-requisite events take place)? While these people go off to "buy" oil later, the Lord comes to take us through the door in heaven. Re-read the parable for yourself (Matt 25). That is exactly how it happens.

Know this, the satanic scoffers foretold to assault us in the last days are out in full force:

2 Peter 3:3 First of all, you must understand that in the last ...

First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will
come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. ...
//bible.cc/2_peter/3-3.htm - 17k

Jude 1:18 They said to you, "In the last times there will be ...

They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers
who will follow their own ungodly desires

These people are spiritually blind. This writer is 100% sure, absolutely, positively, rock solid convinced that an escape from all is coming. When it will happen, how it will happen is the Lord's. "What" will happen is for us to receive by faith just like everything else written in the bible. Do not let the last day scoffers take away from you one of the greatest last day events this world will ever see.

Shifting Gears

I believe the Lord reminded me this evening to pay attention to the small things. The Philadelphian church is weak, for many reasons (Rev 3). The Lord knows this. In spite of its weakness, we are reminded to do what we can with the little remaining strength we have. Can't pray for 6 hours today? Okay, pray for 2 minutes. Something is better than nothing. Remember the parable of the talents (Matt 25). The Lord is not a hard taskmaster. His yoke is easy and His burden is light but we are yoked, and we are burdened which means we are expected to do something instead of nothing. Be strong with the remaining strength you have, be courageous. You are weak, so am I, the Lord knows this however He will not be pleased with us rolling over and playing dead. This does ****not**** mean "getting involved" with the world. Our kingdom is not of this world and it never was. Determine what "talent" the Lord has given you and do the little you can with it today. The people of this world, who belong to this world will take care of the affairs of this world. They are the many, the majority. We are the few and we are to be looking to our Father's kingdom, what He requires of us.

This world is falling apart, but the Ark is on the ground with the door down....do not let anyone steal your hope. Do what you were told to do, pray you will be counted worthy of the escape that is coming (Luke 21:36). Not because I said so, because Jesus said so. Trust His Word. Trust the promises, till death do us part. That is what I hear the Lord saying today.

Repent

I believe the Lord laid on my heart recently, a vision of sorts. Across the face of what calls itself Christianity today, people fill buildings that they call "churches" and lift their hands to sing along with the rock band or listen to the choir. Why is it that "church" buildings dot every corner of the American landscape and yet darkness (not light) prevails in the land? No repentance...

People lift their hands to praise the Lord. That is good. In fact, that is excellent. However, before the praise can be heard and acknowledged in its rightful place, there must first be repentance. Enter here the 'vision'/mental picture whatever that the Lord gave me recently of these groups inside buildings calling themselves "churches." Instead of singing, the picture was of all of them dressed in sackcloth and ashes, just like in the Old Testament, repenting for the tidal wave of sin and guilt that hangs so heavily over America and the world. What would happen if instead of people being "serviced" like an oil job performed on a car once or twice per week, people got down on their knees en mass in true heartfelt repentance for their sin, the sins of their communities, the sins of their nation, and the sins in the world? Forget the starbucks in one hand and the fake smile and wave of the hand greeting to the people you think you know "at" church (if we "are" the church how can we go to it, or be "at" it?). The churches need to try on repentance, tears, mourning and ashes. They need to weep and wail, express regret and true repentance before the door of the ark is shut and judgement falls like a hammer on this world.

Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

To repent is to acknowledge you have done something wrong. A concept that is anathema to todays society and "church." Do the churches really think that all their "praise ministries" are heard on high with their complete and utter embargo of repentance?

The Lord Himself has said "these people worship me in vain."

Matthew 15:9

They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.

Have you ever stopped to consider the ramifications of that statement? This writer is fully persuaded that a time unlike any time this world has ever seen is on the way to the doorsteps of all who live on earth today. While it is called today, and the problems faced by mankind are "only" perpetual war, high prices and unemployment. Now would be a good time to get out the sackcloth and ashes. Now, while "good days" are still apparent to the masses of humanity. The time is coming, when everyone, from the greatest to the least will all acknowledge that the good times are gone.

This world is asleep. What can those who are awake do with the time remaining? They can repent. They can repent for themselves, their families, their country, the world. The sin and wickedness are so overwhelming that this writer believes we can best please the Lord today by acknowledging the sin burden this world carries, all caused by us. What is needed today is sackcloth and ashes type repentance, not lip service. We were created to please the Lord, period. What is it that we can do to please Him today? What is it this writer is hearing from the Lord? 1. Repent 2. Pray for souls to be brought into the kingdom. Start both 1 and 2 with the people around you every day and work your way out from there as the Lord leads.

Shifting gears here.....

Another topic that is slightly off base from what has been discussed earlier in this post is a possible coming prosperity just before this world gets slammed. Luke 21:36, Luke 17, and Matt 24 all speak of "eating and drinking" just before sudden destruction hits this world. Those words and the context in which they are used point to a time radically different from both today and the days of Rev 6+. The bible tells us While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.

And they......will not escape. But "we" are not "they" and "we" are told to pray for escape, are we not (Luke 21:34-36)?

The point here ^^ is that history is going nonlinear sometime in our future. Read the pages of Revelation to get an idea of what nonlinear life is going to look like. A short time of prosperity during days like today would have people singing in the streets. Its a perfect trap. Todays thinking has not prepared people to deal with what is coming. Most of what will happen will come unexpected, outside the parameters of linear thinking. A short time of prosperity that hits this world unexpectedly, along with a string of other seemingly unlikely and seemingly positive events that go with it could very well occur. This will be to the delight and surprise of many in the world. Think of what people would do if all the doom and gloom in the world today was to be "turned off" for a brief time. Think about how the emotions and thoughts of people would play out during that time. We know that if the short time of prosperity does come, delight will quickly turn to despair as "sudden destruction" replaces "peace and safety."

I do not know if we will see any of this ^^ but it is something that has crossed my mind repeatedly and it certainly fits within the framework of the future as described by our Lord in His Word.

These are the thoughts this writer believes the Lord has impressed upon him today. grace and peace

Lean Not on Your Own Understanding

Prov 3:5Trust in the LORD with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

6in all your ways acknowledge him,

and he will make your paths straight.a

Things are getting crazy on planet earth. Everything in creation appears to be hanging on to normalcy by a slender thread. What is going on in the world? Read your bibles, that's what is going on. This world is headed toward absolute fulfillment of every Word that has been written by the Lord our God. What He said in the past will be done in the future.

Things are speeding up, events are taking place at a blinding speed. Each day that goes by I lose count of how many events are pointing directly toward the time of Jacob's trouble. What does that mean for us. It means this:

Luke 21:28

... So when all these things begin to happen, stand and
look up, for your salvation is near!

This is the guidance the Lord has given me today in the midst of this world spinning out of control:

Prov 3:5Trust in the LORD with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding

The Lord told you "what" He was going to do. You don't have to figure out "how" He is going to do it. You can try to figure out all the "hows" that are leading up to the "whats" but in the end you will get overwhelmed. What is coming on this earth is a perfect storm. The "what" is coming from so many different directions, so quickly that no man on this earth will be able to figure it all out. Thus, the Lord's guidance "lean not on your own understanding." Just trust Him.

Some people may feel that they need to figure out the "how" all these things are coming on the earth so they can prove some of it to the masses of humanity. That is an exercise in futility. Those who are watching will continue to watch, those who are not watching will continue to dig deeper and deeper holes with which to bury their heads in denial.

More guidance from the Lord, minimize your look at the world around you and maximize your attention on Him and His Word. There is an awesome destruction coming to this world. It is so awesome that you can become fixated on it watching it approach. Stop looking at it and start focusing on the promises. The Lord told us these things long ago:

Luke 17:26And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32Remember Lot's wife.33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

In Noah's day, a few escaped and everyone else was destroyed. Out of the world, one family escaped....one. All those name it and claim it, and grace only ticket to heaven sin all you want it wont matter preachers are in for a big surprise soon. One family was saved in Noah's day. Same with Lot, one family walked out of Sodom...one. Does that qualify as a "few." I'd say it does. Should that be a wake up call to us all? Yes, indeed it should. Few will be saved. Some people like to dismiss this idea by coming up with all kinds of cute rationalizations for what "few" means so that few ends up meaning them and all the "good" people they know. We don't have to go through those exercises because the Lord already demonstrated what "few" means. Noah and Lot with their families were spared out of a whole world, and an entire city. That's what few means.

Matt 7:13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

"Few" there be that find the gate that leads to life. Not because the Lord wants it that way, but because men choose that way. None of this should put you into fear. If you fear when you read these things then your love has not yet been made perfect:

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to
do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love

This writer is not judging you here, I do not even judge myself. There is a judge and He is not me or you. He is a righteous judge. This writer writes these things in the "fear of the Lord" while he "works out his salvation" with fear and trembling:

Phil 2:12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling

What did the Lord tell us here? Work out your salvation...I didn't say that, Jesus did. How are we to work out our salvation? With fear and trembling. Everything about that statement goes against the grain of today's so called Christianity. People want to be told pleasant things that tickle their ears. They want to hear that they have a free license to sin (OSAS-once saved always saved) and they want to get into the kingdom of heaven as well! That's not how the bible reads to this writer.

We enter "in Christ" by grace through faith, none of us disagree there. Where we do disagree is how we remain "in Christ." Read John 15 over and over again until it sinks in. Its not enough to enter "in Christ," we must also remain "in Him." Again, not my words, His Word. Branches in the vine can and will be "cutoff." If you are a "branch" of the "vine" that is "cutoff" then you are no longer "in the vine" and we know that the vine is Jesus Christ.

How can your love be made perfect so you do not fear? Spend more time with the Lord. Give Him your attention early and often. Why should you fear the Lords judgement and wrath when you are at peace being in His presence day in and day out? If you spend time in His presence, He will tell you what to hold on to and what to get rid of. When we approach our God, the first thing He does is point to any sin in our life. Getting rid of things that displease the Lord is always the first issue when we approach this holy God.
Once we get past the issues that displease our God, we are to trust Him and rest....

Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

This writer believes that the Word of the Lord is true, down to the letter. The Word tells us that an escape from all is coming:

Luke 21:34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, andso that day come upon you unawares. 35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Escape from all? Thats what He said. Did Noah "escape all?" Yes, he did. Did Lot "escape all?" Yes, he did. Will we "escape all?" Yes, we will if we are found worthy of it. Noah and Lot were found "righteous" in their generation. We must be found as "righteous" in our generation. Few were saved in Noahs day. Few were saved in Lots day. Few will be saved in our day. There are a growing number of people who claim to be Christians today who tell us more or less that we will not "escape all." They have no revelation from the Lord that this esape from all is coming. Does that make sense in light of what we know of Noah and Lot? Yep, it sure does. Did the "many" get a revelation in Noahs day that the flood would come and destroy them all? Nope, only the few that were found worthy had the revelation of it. Did the "many" in Lots day get a revelation that it was time to get out of Sodom? Nope, it was revealed to a few people (Lot and his family).

As it was in the days of Noah and Lot, so shall it be in our day. The growing chorus telling us that there is no "escape from all" have no revelation that there will be an escape from all. Just like the many in Noah and Lot's day. How bold these people are to deny the Lord's own Word on this issue. Jesus tells us there is an escape and we should pray for it. Todays scoffers tell us that Jesus lied to us. According to them the escape from all that Jesus tells us 1. exists and 2. we should pray for, well it does not exist? I have a problem with that. That is a huge problem. They will see the error of their ways, but likely they will see it too late.

The coming time of trouble is known as the time of "Jacob's trouble." Where in the bible can you find the church addressed as "Jacob." Nowhere. The church is addressed directly in Rev 2-3 then not addressed directly anywhere else in the book of Revelation until the very end. If the "elect" was the church, why didn't the Lord drop that word somewhere in Rev 2-3 where the church was being directly addressed? How did redeemed and rewarded men from every tongue, tribe, nation on earth get into heaven in Rev 5? Why are these redeemed rewarded men sitting on thrones? Do angels get to sit on thrones in heaven? Nowhere in the bible will you ever see that. What you will see is the church sitting on thrones:

rev 3: 21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Luke 22:30

so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit
on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The evidence that the "prewrath" and "post trib" teachers are wrong is overwhelming. Ultimately, they have no "revelation" of the book of Revelation so they rely on the pet theories and doctrines of men to try to understand a book that can only be understood through the revelation of the Spirit of God and faith.

This world is in for it. Mankind will be wiped clean from the face of the earth except for a few...as always:

Isaiah 13:12 I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir.

and

Matthew 24:22

... And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would have been saved

What has been will be again:

Ecclesiastes 1:9

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing
new under the sun

What happened in the days of Noah and Lot will happen again. The escape and the judgement.
Since we know that an escape has been prepared for us, and we see this world spiraling out of control, shouldn't we do what we were told to do and pray for this escape? Where in the bible are we ever told that the faithful and obedient would reap judgement and wrath? Nowhere.

2 Peter 2:9

if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold
the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishmen

Rescue godly men from trials? Wow, that sounds familiar....

rev 3:10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

Tilt your head back and look up, our redemption draws close. Withdraw your focus from this world and the problems it is having. We are not of this world and we never were. This world and those who belong to it (most people) will look after the tribulations of the world. Our focus must be on the kingdom that is to come and our Fathers will that must be done.

The World is Spinning Out of Control, Be Anxious For Nothing..

1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.

It is becoming more difficult each day to think clearly because of what is going on in the world. There are physical, tangible changes taking place in the earth that affect you. From the dust we came and to the dust we shall return. If the earth (dust) is changing, then so are you (physically). The point here: now more than ever its important to take time to clear your mind and pray. Clearing your mind will be more difficult, but here is where the attitude of a soldier works for you. Suffer like a good soldier through the effort it takes to do the things you know you need to do and do them.

We know we should pray. The Lord recently gave me a framework to use in my prayer life.

1. Psalm 100:4
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Be joyful always;

Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

There is a way we approach our God and it is not with whining and moaning and self pity. We enter His gates with praise, rejoicing and thanksgiving, every time, all the time. That is how we do it. Find something, anything to be thankful for. Find something, anything present past or future to rejoice about and approach our Lord with those words of thanks and rejoicing in your heart and on your lips. If you feel like the Lord has not heard you, consider how you approach Him....

2. Seek first His Kingdom

Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Okay, got it, but what does that mean? A King without subjects has no real kingdom. We are to pray for souls to be added to the kingdom. It is time to start praying in earnest for the souls of everyone you care about. Friends, family, even enemies. This is not polyanna, milktoast so called churchianity praying we are talking about here. This is power at work. This is mountain moving prayer time. You may not see it. You may not feel it, but mountains are moving (and quickly).. today through prayer. Time, I think, is short. Think about how much you care about those around you and consider what it will be like for those who do not make it into the kingdom of heaven. Consider the fact that your prayer many times will make the difference between someone making it in to the kingdom or not:

Job 22:28What you decide on will be done,

and light will shine on your ways.

29When men are brought low and you say, ‘Lift them up!’

then he will save the downcast.

30He will deliver even one who is not innocent,

who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”

Think about the implications of that ^^^^^....

3. After we have approached the Lord with thanks and rejoicing and praise, and we have sought first His Kingdom, then its time for all other things to be added to us. Then is the time for preparatory prayer. That is, laying the groundwork for our future by going ahead of ourselves in the future and praying for the things we want and need. I am a military man by nature, that has been my work so the Lord speaks to me in those terms. He likened this preparatory prayer to calling in artillery strikes on an enemy position before an infantry assault. Before the troops ever step foot on their objective, it has been 'softened' and readied to be captured. That is one way to look at what prayer does for us, it prepares our way before us.

Last but not least here, pray for all those things the Lord knows you need but you have failed to ask for. Why? You have not because you ask not....

James 4:1From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts

The world is moving at a speed that will daze and confuse many. As this world and events on it move faster, we must slow down, clear our minds and pray. Everything we want and need is a prayer away from us. The Lord is near, be anxious for nothing:

Phil 4:4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

These are the things the Lord is saying to me today. Grace and peace

Preparing For the Future

The Lord gave me a kind of answer recently. I've been asking Him for years now if I should "stock up" on food, guns etc. For the longest time I believe the answer was a big internal "no" except for some basics. Recently I believe the Lord gave me a new answer. Let me preface this by saying I do not in any way believe that I am preparing to survive the time of Jacob's trouble. That said, the metaphor the Lord gave me was "if you were standing in the middle of the road and a bus was heading straight at you, would you wait for the Lord to move you or would you at least attempt to step out of the way first?" It is not faithless to do what the Lord has empowered and led you to do in the face of your current environmental circumstances. I almost felt guilty buying a couple extra cans of beans and rice at the store recently. The huge winter storms affecting the U.S. and Australia right now are examples of why it is wise to have extra food, toilet paper etc. in storage these days. I am not stocking up to survive the tribulation, I see the preparation I am taking the same way I see purchasing weekly supplies to feed my family. I just buy a little extra, in faith that the Lord has approved it and led me to do it. His guidance and approval are the most important things in life on this earth today.

I don't go into my backyard and stare at the ground each week until the Lord makes wheat and corn sprout, I go to the grocery store and buy wheat and corn. The point is, as we look around at our environment that is becoming increasingly hostile (storms, freak weather, earth changes), and the Lord has given us resources to "step out of the way of the bus" by preparing, it is my belief that we should do so. How each person does this preparing should be determined individually by following the Spirit's guidance. We all have radically different circumstances.

This world is heaving and convulsing under the weight of the sin that is upon it. A purging is coming and it will not be pretty. We are now going through the time of "beginning of sorrows." How far into these "sorrows" we are, only the Lord knows. I am certain that there is an escape from the time of Jacob's trouble because the Lord told us there is an escape from ALL and we should pray to be counted worthy of it. Noah escaped all, Lot escaped all, and so will we if we remain faithful.

In addition to doing whatever Spirit led preparation we can do, the most important thing we can do as individuals is to seek the Lord's voice and face daily. The biggest favor you can do for yourself, your family and your community is to hear Words from the true God's own mouth. Not hear me, not hear some hired hand preacher, hear the Lord's voice.... We have been told: Rom 8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God...Some people scoff at the idea that God Almighty speaks to us. "Who do you think you are?" they ask..My response is, "I am a child of the Most High God. That's who I am." As with other things, the Lord does not teach lies or nonsense. If He said we would be led by His Spirit, we will be if we follow.

The more dangerous and fast paced the world around us becomes, the more necessary it is for us to slow down and hear the Lord's voice about each step we take. The Lord speaks to us in many ways. Each of His sheep learn how to recognize His voice:
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

We listen to His voice, and we follow Him. When you know that you know that you know you have heard the Lord's voice regarding your next steps, another remarkable thing happens; all fear is gone. You can take your steps forward in complete confidence knowing the the King of Kings, God of Creation has guided you forward in love. The Lord knows the future backward and forward, front to back and side to side. He is not 'surprised' by anything that is about to happen, He knows it all. When this God is directing your steps, why should you fear? Why should you be afraid?

This world has a "behind the woodshed" moment coming to it that will not be pleasant in any way. But we are not of this world, nor do we receive according to this world. Did Jesus shed His blood for us or not? How are we seen by the Father right now in this moment? Are we seen "in Christ" or not? If we are seen by the Father as being "in Christ" right now, will we receive the judgments that this world is about to receive? No possible way. As it was in the days of Noah and Lot, so shall it be when the Son of Man returns for us. That, my friends, is an indisputable fact....

Seek His face. grace and peace

p.s. One last thing the Lord showed me recently. This world works on cycles. You know, winter, spring, summer, fall, sine waves etc etc. We work on cycles too. If you have not prayed, if you miss days, do not beat yourself up, consider it a down cycle and get back to praying or whatever else it is that you should be doing but you have not for awhile. Point here? Do not give up. Pay attention to the small things and the big things will take care of themselves.
