I've been saying this for some time now, time is short. That particular phrase resonates inside me, yet I don't know exactly how short "short" means. Here's the view from where I stand on the wall as a watchman: Things are going to get ALOT worse for this world. You have'nt seen bad yet, but its coming. If you think this year has been bad, just wait till next year. Let's look at a couple of things to flesh this idea out.
1. In spite of what the propagandists (lamestream media) tells you, we have'nt seen anything CLOSE to the bottom of the stock market decline. Inflation, the housing market, wars wars and more wars, debt in the household, debt in the government. Theres only so far the printing of funny money goes, and we're seeing the end of it.
2. Unrest. The crowds are getting restless. They see everything deteriorating for them, while the super rich get richer. There have already been numerous marches and protests over the corruption, and NONE of them get covered by the lamestream media. What might this mean? Martial law is coming. You don't think the powers that be are going to budge an inch for peons like the common man do you?

3. WAR. John Mccain, mr. bomb iran will have us up over our eyeballs in WAR for the entire time he's president if he gets in. I at least respect the fact that he does'nt try to hide the fact that he's utterly clueless to anything besides starting and keeping wars going. Problem is, last time I checked, the American public majority is getting kind of sick of war. Obama started his campaign and won the nomination with an anti-war platform, then once he became the democratic nominee, dropped the anti-war stuff like a hot potato. A clue to why we hear NOTHING about Iraq this close to the presidential (s)election is because both Obama and Mccain have sold their souls down the river. The gist of it is: if Obama becomes president the world as you know it is going to turn upside down, AND YOU WONT LIKE WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO. He said that. The things Biden said could only come from prior knowledge of pre-planned events. He talks of things Obama will do that will be DEEPLY UNPOPULAR. Whats the bottom line here: electronic voting has guaranteed that your vote wont count, and even if it did, both candidates for president owe their souls to the netherworld.
So, from my vantage point, we have financial collapse, civil unrest/martial law, and lots and lots of WAR coming. That's what you have to look forward to in this world. Jesus said over and over again, DO NOT BE DECEIVED. He said that because the world we live in is non-stop 24/7 DECEPTION. Eventually however, things begin to come unraveled and people can see the truth of whats going on.
So we can see in the near term future: financial collapse, civil unrest/martial law and lots of WAR, but for what purpose? To get people so sick and tired of the "old" world order that they will BEG for the "new" world order. Look at Obama's platform, whats the one word he stands on? CHANGE. Change indeed. From all outward appearances, next year is shaping up to make this year look like good times. Look at how upset people are today. I saw an interview of some lady yesterday and you know what she said? I WANT MY OLD LIFE BACK. All the reporters echoed that saying that this lady nailed it, people want their old life back. Well, guess what? The world as you know it is GONE FOREVER. We are going full steam ahead into EXACTLY what the bible predicted would happen with 100% accuracy. We are seeing the TRIBULATION WORLD take shape before our very eyes, TODAY.
This leads to my next point, if the tribulation world is taking shape before our eyes, AND if the rapture is pre-tribulation as I believe it will be, what does that mean? There's very little time left before the tribulation starts and less time before the rapture occurs. Here's a timing marker for you to think about: the mark of the beast is put in around the midpoint of the tribulation, this allows us to ask the question: from where we stand today, with the technology available today, is it reasonable to estimate that 3.5 years from now there could be a one world financial system and the technology available to mark everyone that they may not buy or sell without the mark? There's no question in my mind that we are standing at a point in time where we could see both a world financial system and the mark 3.5 years from now. What does that mean? The world is ready for the tribulation. In fact, we are seeing the controlled demolition of the world's financial system so the new world financial system can be built on the ruins of the old. We are seeing this TODAY. Are you starting to see why I think time is short?
Back to WAR for a moment. We see clearly that both Mccain and Obama will bury us deeper into WAR. What's so important about that?
Daniel 9:27 (NIV) He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven’ but in the middle of that ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And one who causes desolation will place abominations on a wing of the temple until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."
This event ^^^^is the marker that will tell the world when the tribulation has officially begun, and WAR will be an important factor in confirming that covenant with many.
Okay, so I've made many points here, but my main point is this: TIME IS SHORT. How much time is left? Days? Weeks? Months? It is becoming increasingly apparent to many people that things are about to flip upside down, the question is, where will they look for solace, peace and comfort? To the world that brought all this suffering on them in the first place, or to the creator who loves them, wants to give them peace, and CAN deliver peace? Today is a day of decision. The world, the flesh and the devil are all competing with the Creator for your attention. Who will get your attention? Where will you focus your mind, heart and spirit? Where you put your attention says alot about what you really believe. That's why I say most men in this world are faithless. Guys like Chuck Baldwin who calls himself a pastor, is part of the idolatrous nicolaitan system and has jumped into the sewage pit also known as our political system with scuba gear on to "change the world for Jesus" is faithless. Do you remember when Jesus marveled at the roman centurian?

Some military men understand faith better than most. As a former officer in the Army, I learned that a soldier with a rifle can accomplish a little, but a soldier with a RADIO can bring an entire army to its knees. That soldier can radio requests for air support, artillery, tanks, more infantry...etc. While using the RADIO, the soldier ISN'T USING THEIR OWN RIFLE. This relates directly to my point with faithless men. These men are all about using their own little rifles to 'change the world for Jesus.' Men who "get it" on the other hand, set the rifle down and pick up the radio to their COMMANDER and call in the cavalry. As christians our communication to our commander is called PRAYER, and PRAYER can bring opposing armies to their knees. It takes FAITH to set the rifle down and pick up the prayer radio. You have to BELIEVE that your commander CAN and WILL respond. I see a world full of so called christians with rifles in their hands and NO RADIOS. They just don't get it.
