The Alarming Lack of Prophets

You would think that with millions of churches, dotting every square mile of developed America, there would be at least ONE prophet, who would come forward and amaze the worldly news media and everyone else with "thus sayeth the Lord." To date, there have been ZERO, none, nada. All we have is false prophets who prophesy lies and illusion year after year after year, and the amazing part is, despite the bibles instructions to shun such men, people keep following them!

Pat Robertson is a great example. He makes numerous prophesies every year and every year THEY ARE ALL WRONG. False prophet. Does that discourage 'his' followers? Not in the least.

Is this world so wicked, and are godly men so few that the Lord won't give one man a word, or some insight into the future? We know He answers prayer, and we know prophesy is still something He wants the church to have so WHERE IS IT?

Joel 2:28 "It will come about after this That I will pour
... "It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; Andyour sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will ... sons

Acts 2:17 'AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,' God says,
... Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, andyour old men will dream dreams. ... Your sons and your daughters will prophesy.

Its time to start seeking the face of God again for the things He has promised. Its time for sons and daughters to prophesy. Its time for the few godly men and women who are left to be citizens of a kingdom full of power, not a byword and a joke to the world.

You wanna know what we should see in the church? Here ya go:

1 Cor 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Got that? NOT A PASTOR IN SIGHT. FIRST..APOSTLES, SECOND PROPHETS............WHERE ARE THE PROPHETS??????????????????????????????????

I see legions and legions of hired hand pastors of which Paul mentions NOT ONCE when discussing what we should see in the church, and ZERO prophets in todays so called churches......BIG PROBLEM. Huge problem....

Yea, I've seen a person here or there who had the title 'prophet' but the only thing they could 'see' in the future was my money ending up in their wallet....

It takes an outsider to see what those inside cannot or will not see. I have been outside churchianity for years now, and what I see is rot and decay.

It's not as if God is any less powerful than He ever has been. With the increase of wickedness all around us, we need to be re-baptized in ZEAL for the Lord and His kingdom. Seek the Lord on your face. When everybody thinks that someone else is going to do something, NOTHING gets done. WE...that means you, and that means me, need to ask the Lord for the gifts, because He is obviously unwilling to give them to churchianity. I will continue to ask the Lord for the gift of prophesy, He said to "covet earnestly the best gifts" and I intend to do just that. Seek earnestly the best gifts...
